About me

Curriculum Vitae

I grew up in the south of the Netherlands and pursued a Bachelor in Arts and Culture at Maastricht University, specializing in Art, Literature, and Culture. I graduated with honours and completed an Erasmus exchange at the University of Vienna, where I deepened my interest in philosophy. Following this, I earned a Master’s degree in Philosophy, with a minor in World Literature, at the University of Bern in Switzerland. Where I wrote my thesis on concept possession in nonhuman animals and artificial systems.

In January 2023, I began my PhD at LMU Munich under the Chair of Philosophy of Mind and as part of the Neurophilosophy program at the Graduate School of Systemic Neuroscience. My research focuses on the philosophy of animal minds, artificial intelligence, comparative cognition, and collaborative awareness. I am part of an interdisciplinary project and actively engage in teaching and science communication activities.
